The ocean is a vast and largely uncharted habitat, full of strange and unpleasant creatures. And thanks to the movies where monsters happen to arise from the vast depths of the ocean’s unexplored chasms, the humans take on monsters has gone up on another level. They are often left wondering how things will turn out if someday a giant scary creature emerges from the ocean. No matter how fascinating this idea may sound, what would happen if this actual happens in reality?
Something similar happened when a vast 50 ft “sea monster” washed up on the shore of an Indonesian island.
Little was known about the mystery that appeared to have risen to the surface from the murky depths of the ocean blue, other than the fact that it was enormous.
The creature was discovered by a 37-year-old local, Asrul Tuanakota, off the coastline of Hulung Beach on the Indonesian Seram Island. It was indeed so vast in stature that Tuanakota initially thought that it was a grounded coat, bobbing on the sea’s surface.
This started a trail of different theories as to what the true identity of the vast lump is.
After the lump began to decompose, it tried its best to ascertain its true nature. Was it the largest giant squid ever found or could it be some unidentified leviathan of the deep that finally decided to surface?
