Two little kids turning into spies and doing what even biggies find difficult to do, is a great fascination for small children. Almost all of them wanted to become a spy when they grow up but the future doesn’t shape up according to the desires of the childhood. Likewise, the sweet little innocent looking Carmen Cortez looks nothing like she was in the movie. Alexa Vega a.k.a. the gutsy pre-teen crimefighter Carmen Cortez rose to fame with her role in the ‘Spy Kids’ series.
The Miami-born Alexa who spent the first four years of her life on a ranch became a worldwide sensation for her character Carmen in 2001 movie Spy Kids at an age of 12. The movie was a huge success and was eventually followed by three sequels.
