Her tweet sent Twitter buzzing as online strangers reveled in the Connecticut native’s pain, which they found completely and utterly hilarious.
Her tweet has now been shared almost 40,000 times. Thankfully, Emily did see the funny side, eventually, and isn’t too angry with her little sister.
“I want people to know I’m not mad at my sister for posting the picture in the first place,” she said.
She further added, “We always joke around with each other and neither of us ever expected it to turn out like this.” She was also pretty amused by all the responses on Twitter, comparing her to different characters. Like Will Smith following his allergic reaction to shellfish in Hitch.
