Our pets are not just lovable creatures but are beings who with their selfless love, purity and loyalty add a bright shine into our life. They are those forever buddies who stick by our side through thick and thin. Though they cannot express their emotions like humans. But having said that, not every human is worthy of embracing the unconditional love they can offer. While some make the most of each moment with their beloved pets, some take them as nothing but a source of extra income. Likewise, there are some pooches who get to revel in the blessing of a loving home while some just find themselves to be on the receiving end of brutality. Such was the story of Sugarplum who reinstated the faith in “What’s meant for you, will somehow trace its way back to you.”
It’s a sad reality that many animals are sold through sites like Craigslist and are bred purely for the money.
The poor creatures have likely been mistreated their entire lives. Thankfully though, organizations like Rescue Dogs Rock NYC are trying to combat the problem and have saved as many as they could, giving them the life they are rightfully entitled to.
Recently, the co-founder of Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, Jackie O’Sullivan, was made aware of a Craigslist ad selling two puppies.
So, when she saw their picture, she immediately knew she had to step in and help them before it was too late. However, Sugarplum didn’t know that he was heading towards his fairy tale ending. Since the day Sugarplum was born, she had known only uncertainty and loss.
