Even before a child is born, it is the universal right of the parents to plan about the future of their unborn. Studying in a big school, going to a good college, get a degree followed by a well-paying job and you are all set to conquer the world. That’s what every parent dreams, but does reality really match the imagination? Well, for some it might, however, for some fate might choose the different road.
You don’t always need a strong family background or degrees from the world-known institutes to make it big, just some real talent would do. And sometimes, something as regular as a cardboard would be enough for you to create your magic. And that is exactly how Monami Ohno from Japan, created her own identity by following not what others’ say but by following her heart.
A cardboard artist from Tokyo, Japan, Monami Ohno graduated from Osaka University of the Arts.
During her years at school, she decided to pursue 3-D animation. But in order to realize her dream, she didn’t let the lack of resources come into her way. She came out with a more interesting, feasible and comparatively cheap option to turn her passion into reality.
Nobody could have imagined something as mundane as a cardboard box turn into cars and trucks and what not!
Monami resorted to something as simple as a cardboard as it was available in abundance, thanks to Amazon. But what she did with it, really makes us think about where does she hide her magic wand. Because her creations are no less than magic.
