Despite their similarities, the sisters claim that they have never even watched an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and that their resemblance is simply a coincidence.
The duo said in an interview “Our close friends and family are so used to seeing us they have never seen a resemblance and added, “It’s only when we are out together people constantly point it out – people that don’t know us at all – especially in the States.” Sonia, who runs the Instagram page @soniaxfyza with her sister, make-up artist Fyza, describes herself as a ‘beauty addict’ who regularly poses for her sister and acts as her ‘muse’.
The pair specializes in makeovers for Middle-Eastern skin, but also work with celebrities such as Naomi Harris and Helen Flanagan, and split their time between London and Dubai.
Between them, they have more than 550,000 Instagram followers which fall short in comparison to the real Kim Kardashian West’s 59 million fans. They also have a blog where they regularly post makeup tips and product reviews. Sonia said in an interview, ‘My sister and I love Kim Kardashian’s makeup. Fyza likes to experiment with celebrity-inspired looks on me so we have recreated her looks a few times.’
