The cancer had spread below the surface of her skin. As a result, she has a huge mark on her body.
She isn’t afraid of sharing the scars with the world. She hopes that it helps people in some way or the other. At the moment, she is seeking further treatment for the same and said, “I’d had the mole on my stomach since I was born and when it started to change shape last summer, I didn’t take much notice.”
“I decided to post a photo of my scar because it wasn’t until after my surgery that it really hit home what I’d been through.”
According to the doctors, the slightest exposure to the UV rays can cause this cancer. Thus, Cloe was eager to share this experience with her family and friends, as she’s been out on the sunbeds only a couple of times. She said, “I knew that if by sharing my experiences and it stopped one person going on sunbeds it would be worthwhile.” She even added, “I will never lay in the sun again and would much rather stick to a bottle of fake tan or have a spray tan than damage my skin.”
