Did You Know That A Sunscreen Could Cause Your Skin To Burn? This Mom Found Out The Hard Way!

Everyone has their own summer skin care regime and the common thing among those regimes is the use of sunscreens. You cannot do without it, it is the only way to protect your skin from ultraviolet rays that can cause multiple skin diseases. But what if, those sunscreens are the ones causing damage to your skin and health?

There’s a reason it is advised to consult a specialist when choosing skin products, and this story of a 14-month old baby is going to prove the same.

Kyla’s face swelled and developed after her mother applied the Banana Boat Sunscreen.

Rebbeca Cannon was visiting her sister in the Newfoundland, Canada, with her 14-month old baby Kyla. Cannon had forgotten her sunscreen so before heading out she borrowed the Banana Boat Skin Sunscreen  Spray SPF 50 for kids from her sister and gently applied on the infant’s face. Even though the weather was overcast but she thought it’d be best to apply the sunscreen since an infant’s skin is more sensitive.
